Abdulkadir Özgen — Biography
Abdulkadir Özgen (born 8 September 1986 in Stolberg, then West Germany) is a Turkish-German footballer who plays as a forward. Known in Germany as "Abdul", he holds both Turkish and German citizenship.
The Arabic and Persian Wikipedias record spells at Alemannia Aachen, Bucaspor, Kayserispor, Manisaspor, Adana Demirspor, Sivasspor, Samsunspor and Şanlıurfaspor. In April 2014 Milliyet ran a headline on the scoring burden he was carrying at Manisaspor.
He joined Balıkesirspor in June 2016 and was long listed in the Turkish Wikipedia as a player of the second-tier club. TRT Haber reported in December 2021 that the club and the player had gone their separate ways.
